New website and new events

This month John Clayborn Designer Jewelry has rolled out its new and improved website. It includes a new line by the company and classic pieces that are staples of the brand. The company will be making its second appearance at Shecky's Girls Night Out in San Francisco, California on the dates of November 11th and 12th. Go to www.sheckys.com. The company will also make a appearance at the Shecky's G.N.O. in Los Angeles, California on December 9th and 10th. If you live in the L.A. or San Francisco area or near any of these areas, make sure you don't miss one of these two great events. You will receive a goodie bag loaded with great gifts to the brim. Upcoming Shows

During the rest of this year we will be doing a number of shows. They will range from the Gem and Jewelry Show in Rosemont, Illinois to Sheckys in California. I will update this post once I get further information on the show. 

African Festival of the Arts in Chicago

John Clayborn Designs will be located at the Chicago African Festival September 4th-7th. We will feature our one of a kind pieces of semi precious stones hand wrapped in sterling silver. We will be making jewelry while we are there and taking orders on customized pieces. Also our newest product (in which i call the Peurto Rican Ring) will be there. these rings are very colorful and can be made on the spot with your choice of colors and range from 10 dollars to 40 dollars. As of today the name Rekindled Designs Studio is a subdivision. Still same great stuff though. The John Clayborn Designs name has NOT changed and is in any way related to or effected by the name change. Thank you.

I wanted to post this to show what we do and why we do it. First I would like to say thanks to all who have subscribed to this blog and thank you all for your support. To start off, John Clayborn Designs is a one of a kind handcrafted jewelry company since 2000. It has served the public with pieces of jewelry you will not see anywhere else. Its craftsmanship is flawless and is able to be more elegant than any "cookie cutter" jewelry. Alot of the pieces are more affordable than other jewelry and can be custom made to the buyers needs, and can be worn almost anywhere. Rekindled Designs (name soon to change) is a up and coming artist (Kendall Rice) who was trained since 2006 who strives to do the same thing. So dont feel like your too far away. We also do alot of expo's for ones interested in whole sale. We keep with sterling silver becouse it is inexpensive. Unlike Gold or Platinum.
